Welcome to STL2STEP Converter, a free online tool that allows you to convert STL (STereoLithography) files to STEP (Standard for the Exchange of Product model data) format.

What is STL?

STL is a file format commonly used for 3D printing and computer-aided manufacturing. It represents 3D models as a collection of triangular facets.

What is STEP?

STEP (ISO 10303) is a widely-used standard format for exchanging CAD data between different software systems. It preserves geometric and topological information more accurately than STL files.

How It Works

Simply upload your STL file, and our converter will reprocess it into a STEP file. The conversion process maintains the geometric accuracy of your model while optimizing it for CAD software compatibility.

Limitations

• Maximum file size: 100MB
• Rate limit: 1 conversion per minute, 5 conversions per day
• Only STL files are currently supported as input
